Welcome!
Thank you for visiting our newly designed website for the "Determined to Make a Difference" campaign!  I am Donnie Craig, your 2008 Republican Candidate for Pickens County Sheriff.   As we approach the August 5th Republican Primary run-off, I would appreciate your vote and your support to begin a new era for the Pickens County Sheriff's Office.    In the words of one of our greatest Republican Presidents;

"A leader, once convinced a particular course of action is the right one, must have the determination to stick with it and be undaunted when the going gets rough."

Ronald Reagan - December 5, 1990

Advance Voting in Georgia

If your hectic schedule ever kept you from getting to the polls on Election Day, Georgia law offers you a great solution - advance voting - designed to meet the needs of today’s busy Georgians. With advance voting you may choose to vote in person before Election Day simply as a matter of convenience. Advance voting allows any registered voter to cast a ballot IN PERSON on the Monday through Friday of the week prior to an election.  In regard to the July 15th Republican Primary, you may cast your ballot on July 7th - 11th, 2008 (Monday - Friday) instead of waiting in long lines on Tuesday, July 15th.  Please note that Advance Voting is not available on Monday, July 14, 2008.
